Science and Research
Our scientists in mechanics and biotechnology are well-known in the world for their investigations and innovations. Their research results in winning Medals and Diplomas in International Fairs on Engineering and Technology. Among our achievements there are annual Gold Medals (since 1997) in the field of automatic precise processing technology in International Exhibitions on Innovations and Technology in Brussels. We are also proud of our innovations in medical and dental implant technology, achievements in energy saving, in development of food industry equipment and in other areas of research. Our scientists apply their investigations at the university Technological Park "Volga-Technika" consisting of 23 companies conducting research and production.

Professors of Radio Engineering Department constantly publish their papers in well-known articles collections after participating in Proceedings Power Symposium, Electromagnetic Research Symposium, IEEE and they also submit their works to Journal Transactions on Magnetics, Microwave and Optical Technology Letters and etc.

Laboratory of Computer Modeling has established cooperation with the Industrial Microwave Modeling Group in the Center for Industrial Mathematics and Statistics of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA. According to the agreement, scientists of the SSTU take part in the joint educational and research programs.
