Students Life

There are 1250 places in 4 hostels which are situated in the University campus. This allows to provide students with the accommodation completely.

For more than 20 years the Health centre has been functioning successfully. This centre is situated in one of university buildings which is convenient both for students and staff.

Our university is the only higher school in the city which has the stadium with a football field and 2 sport halls (1249 square meters), Sport Center with a swimming pool in Balakovo. Among STTU students and postgraduates there are winners of All-Russian and European competitions, World championships and Olympic games.

For more than 25 years the university camp "Polytechnic" has been working for the purposes of summer rest of University students and staff. The camp is situated on the picturesque bank of the Volga river 70 km away from Saratov.

Student's entertainment is based on the activity of Student's Club.
